What is a Beverage Burro?

A beverage burro (aka beer burro) is a standard or miniature donkey outfitted with decorated saddlebags to carry drinks, party favors, or gifts at your event. They mingle with guests, pose for photos, and bring a whole lot of charm and cheer.

We also offer "Donkey Drop Ins", without beverage service where the donkeys come decorated for petting, interaction and photo ops to parties and other events. 

What can I expect when I get a Beverage burro or donkey drop in?

Your burro will arrive at least 30 minutes before the designated start time to make sure we are ready and waiting for the guests. Prior to the start time your burro handler will reach out and communicate with the venue staff for the location of the beverages and ice or snacks, or "fill up" station to fill our carry bags. Handlers will accompany the burro to assist with beverages, photos and any questions your guest may have. Your burro will be clean having just received a bath that day, accessorized and dressed as previously arranged and ready to join the party!

What kind of events do you do?

Weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, corporate events, grand openings, holiday gatherings—you name it! If you're hosting a celebration and want something unique, we’re your go-to.

Do the donkeys make a "mess"?

Our donkeys wear tail bags or "Bun Bags" to catch any messes they may deposit. They rarely do, but on the off chance of a urination at an event, we handle it with diluting with water or kitty litter to absorb and scoop the mess. 

Can the donkeys serve alcohol?

Our donkeys carry any provided beverages in their saddlebags/baskets, but they do not serve alcohol or open containers. All alcohol service must be handled by a licensed bartender at your event. They can carry any closed bottles or cans that guests help themselves to during your event. Even snacks, marketing materials or party favors can be distributed to your guests!

How are the donkeys decorated?

Yes! We offer themed flower crowns, floral garlands, top hats, cowboy hats, fiesta flair, and custom color options to match your event. We even have cute wedding signs, we can carry as well as birthday or party decor. We’ll work with you to create the perfect look.
