We specialize in creating unforgettable moments with our beverage toting burros, AKA beer burros for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and community celebrations. Pickles
A fan favorite for a reason—Pickles is playful, expressive, and full of personality. He loves attention and knows exactly how to work a crowd (and a camera), making him a standout at Jacksonville weddings and events.
Whether he’s serving drinks, posing for photos, or greeting guests, he brings a fun, memorable energy that makes him a highlight of any wedding, private party, or corporate event in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, and surrounding areas.
Lola Mae
Our mostly white spotted beauty with a heart for people, Lola brings a soft, elegant presence to events and is quickly becoming a favorite for wedding photo moments across Amelia Island and Northeast Florida venues.
We’re so excited to introduce one of the youngest members of our Burro Buddies family—Lola Mae! Born on May 6, 2025, this sweet spotted miniature donkey (with her signature mostly white coat) joined our farm on September 8th and has already stolen everyone’s hearts.
Lola is full of personality—snuggly, people-loving, and always eager to be part of the fun. She’s quickly learning to lead and follow commands, proving she’s as smart as she is adorable. With her gentle nature and playful spirit, Lola is already becoming a perfect fit for beverage burro events, weddings, and interactive experiences in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida—bringing even more joy, charm, and cuddles to every event she attends.

Petey Pablo
Friendly, curious, and always ready to be part of the action, Petey brings a fun, easygoing energy to every event—from private parties in Yulee to weddings in Jacksonville and Amelia Island.
Meet Petey Pablo! Petey joined the Burro Buddies crew in November 2025. He is a 5-year-old spotted miniature donkey standing 33" tall. Petey came to us already very well educated and even knows how to pull a cart—pretty impressive for a little guy.
He is incredibly friendly and sweet and is still learning what it means to be a Burro Buddy. His best friend is Pickles, and the two spend their off-duty time playing together. Petey loves treats, enjoys meeting new people, and is always excited for his next adventure—making him a natural fit for beverage burro services, wedding entertainment, and interactive donkey experiences in Northeast Florida.

Pistachio
The newest (and tiniest!) member of the crew. Born on December 26, 2025, Pistachio is a spotted miniature donkey who came out black, he has a gene causing NLP (no light points), meaning his nose and around his eyes is all dark, unlike most donkeys where it is light.
He’s already showing an incredibly sweet, friendly personality with a strong, independent spirit. Pistachio loves people, greets everyone he meets, and is proving just how smart he is early on. We can’t wait to watch him grow into his role with Burro Buddies and become a future favorite for donkey experiences, petting interactions, and wedding entertainment in Northeast Florida.

Terrie – Owner & Founder
Hi, I’m Terrie—the heart behind Burro Buddies. I’m a Registered Nurse with a background in perioperative care, and I started this business from a simple love of animals and the joy they bring to people.
What began as a passion project has grown into a sought-after experience for weddings and events in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, and throughout Northeast Florida. I handle all planning, communication, and event coordination to ensure every detail is seamless and every experience feels effortless for our clients.
Josh – Coordinator & Logistics
Josh is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse. From wrangling and grooming to transport, setup, and on-site logistics—he ensures every event runs smoothly. His attention to detail helps us deliver a professional, polished experience at every wedding, corporate event, and private party we attend.
Our Event Assistants
Our trained assistants help guide guest interactions, support event flow, and ensure both guests and donkeys are safe and comfortable. They play a key role in delivering the full Burro Buddies beverage burro experience.
