Pickles
A fan favorite and one of the original Burro Buddies, Pickles has grown from a shy little guy into a sweet, affectionate crowd favorite. He loves attention, photos, and being right in the middle of the fun.
Whether serving as a Beverage Burro or simply greeting guests, Pickles brings plenty of personality and unforgettable charm to weddings and events throughout Jacksonville, Amelia Island, and Northeast Florida.
Lola Mae
Our mostly white spotted beauty, Lola Mae, is one of the youngest members of the Burro Buddies family. Sweet, snuggly, and people-loving, she brings a gentle, playful charm everywhere she goes.
With her beautiful coloring and one of a kind personality, Lola is quickly becoming a favorite for weddings, photos, and interactive events throughout Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.

Petey Pablo
Friendly, curious, and quiet, Petey brings a fun, easygoing energy to every event.
Meet Petey Pablo! Petey joined the Burro Buddies crew in November 2025. He is a 5-year-old spotted miniature donkey standing 33" tall. Petey came to us already very well educated and even knows how to pull a cart—pretty impressive for a little guy.
He is incredibly friendly and sweet. His best friend is Pistachio, and the two spend their time together side by side. Petey loves treats, enjoys meeting new people, and is always excited for his next adventure.

Pistachio
The newest (and tiniest!) member of the crew. Born on December 26, 2025, Pistachio is a spotted miniature donkey who came out black, he has a gene causing NLP (no light points), meaning his nose and around his eyes is all dark, unlike most donkeys where it is light.
He’s already showing an incredibly sweet, friendly personality with a strong, independent spirit. Pistachio loves people, greets everyone he meets, and is proving just how smart he is early on. We can’t wait to watch him grow into his role with Burro Buddies and become a future favorite for donkey experiences, petting interactions, and wedding entertainment in Northeast Florida.

Terrie – Owner & Founder
Hi, I’m Terrie—the heart behind Burro Buddies. I’m a Registered Nurse, but animals have always been a huge part of my life. Burro Buddies started simply from my love for them and seeing how naturally they bring people together, spark conversations, and create genuine moments of joy.
What began as a little passion project has grown into something I never could have imagined—bringing our donkeys to weddings and special events throughout Northeast Florida and beyond.
When you reach out to Burro Buddies, you’re talking directly with me. I personally handle your planning, communication, and event coordination from your first inquiry through event day. My goal is to make the entire experience feel easy and personal, so you can simply enjoy having some very special four-legged guests be part of your celebration.
Josh – Coordinator & Logistics
Josh is truly the behind-the-scenes powerhouse of Burro Buddies—and the one who helps bring all of my crazy ideas to life! From grooming and loading to hauling, setup, and keeping everything running smoothly on event day, he’s a huge part of making each experience happen.
As a retired Army veteran, Josh brings a calm, dependable presence and an incredible attention to detail to everything he does. He’s also pretty great at keeping the donkeys—and me—on track!
You may not always see everything he does behind the scenes, but Burro Buddies simply wouldn’t be what it is without him.
Our Event Assistants
Our amazing event assistants are an important part of the Burro Buddies family and help us bring the full Beverage Burro experience to life at every event.
You’ll find them alongside us helping guide guest interactions, keeping baskets stocked, supporting event flow, and making sure both our guests and donkeys are safe, happy, and comfortable. They know our donkeys, understand their individual personalities, and share our commitment to putting their wellbeing first.
More than anything, our team understands what Burro Buddies is all about—creating genuine moments, making people smile, and giving every guest a fun, personal experience they’ll remember.
